PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Go nuts. Hug a sad orphan, save a life.

ROMANCE: He's eleven going on twelve, so, y'know, pre-teen baby on board. That said, he's at an age where he's starting to eyeball pretty faces, so vanilla kiddy crushes aren't out of the question.

FIGHTING: Sure! What's life without a little excitement, am I right?

INJURIES: For serious injuries, let's OOCly hash it out beforehand. Otherwise, I'm game.

DEATH: Canonically Jake is South Park Kenny and gets killed by damn near everything, so I'm down keeping the tradition alive, but let's plot it out first.

TELEPATHIC/PSYCHIC ABILITIES: Jake is the (sort of???) proud owner of some major psychic power. When it's in use, he lights up the psychic sphere like a Roman candle which makes him visible to those with "sixth senses" and therefore easy to track. Characters who might sense this are free to take note.

If you're looking to crack open his noggin and take a peek, go ahead; it's possible since whatever barriers he could theoretically put in place aren't super developed yet. If it's an unwilling invasion, just be aware he'll likely resist. Hit me up if you need any details.

Powers Opt-In
Jake is a psychic, and a bit of an OP one at that, meaning basically he's perceptive beyond the normal sensory scope, clairvoyant, and can touch other people's minds.

You can find a more detailed breakdown down of his abilities here, but in general, he's led by strong intuition, often picking up on things the normal five senses can't explain. For instance, if Jake were to meet Loki from MCU, hypothetically he could get an impression his human form is not his true form, or a feeling of coldness, etc. Currently he's exploring telepathy and mind reading (with effort), and may have prophetic dreams/visions of your characters or other subjects. However, he's still learning the ropes, so depending on player interest his powers may not work at all! Up to you.

I will always ask permission before specific uses of his abilities, but if you'd like to opt in or out of his psychic nonsense, feel free to fill out the following form to provide baseline character info. Likewise if you'd rather not deal with it in any capacity, go ahead and say so.

As the infomoddy nature of what he can do could be a vehicle for optional CR-building, also feel free to drop a line for your memory sharing/dreamwalking/psychic hotline needs!

If yes, is there anything you would like him to notice or feel he could notice?: The former (telepathy/mind reading) would require active effort on Jake's part and could certainly be plotted on a case-by-case basis. The latter (passive impressions) is a more unconscious skill and could include anything from sensing your character isn't human, their particularly strong aura, the fact they're possessed by the Ghost of Christmas Past, etc., etc...
 
Would you be open to Jake having visions of your character(s) and/or their canons?: Given his penchant for picking up impressions, it seems plausible he could see glimpses of other people's past, present, and potential futures through dreams/visions, which could be a fun springboard for plots.

If you'd like to use this ability for CR-building, or canon deets that need spoiling or skeletons that need de-closeting (or anything else you'd really like Jake to tap into for threading purposes, the sky's the limit), go ahead and say so here or hit me up elsewhere!

Are you comfortable with telepathy/mind reading/getting a psychic impression involving your character(s) and to what degree?: YEAH though Eddie might not be too hot on it. Eddie might have his own shining, but he certainly has no ability to keep anyone out. Doesn't help that he's super open in general so reading him is probably..super...easy. Feel free to go all out honestly. I write Eddie with hella introspection so feel free to take advantage of that and use it to Jake's ability how you feel would be appropriate. I trust ya.

If yes, is there anything you would like him to notice or feel he could notice?: Probably feels that Eddie is the PUREST SOUL IN KNOWN EXiSTENCE? No but really. He can probably sense that Eddie is a lot stronger than he ever seems/feels. A good, loyal soul. I don't mind if he gets a sense of any of that dank canon trauma either, whether it's his mother or IT. Or anything else that is prominent? He also can probably feel that Eddie also has some of the shining in him too- even if it's just a lil. I'm very flexible with this stuff.

Would you be open to Jake having visions of your character(s) and/or their canons?: Absolutely. Considering their canons are actually kind of cousins to each other I think it'd be super interesting to see how they might be connected and might not be as far apart as it would seem!

Honestly this would be extremely fun to explore with these boys, these canons in particular, considering everything. Eddie's own shining is sooo so much more gentler. Idk how you'd feel about Eddie "seeing" anything about Jake (his abilities in IT are WAY less defined obviously? He sees his mom telling his friends to fuck off and has that map head basically and some odd ends like that) so if you ever want to use that too I'm down. Eddie himself doesn't even know it's a thing whoop.

If yes, is there anything you would like him to notice or feel he could notice?: mmmmman akira is hiding a LOT of negative feelings of guilt, loneliness, homesickness, and bitterness. basically his calm demeanor is completely fake?

i tend to point things out in introspect, so you're welcome to go wild with all of it, regardless of however it evolves over the period of game! this kid could probably help akira with Not Hiding Everything...... sigh.

Would you be open to Jake having visions of your character(s) and/or their canons?: PLEASE. i'll get with you on the kinds of things he can see, because some of it is very P5 spoilers and / or CW-worthy... akira has a lot of skeletons in his closet, and reasons for his guilt.

A soft shine for a soft boy, I dig it! And as we're already hashing telepathy stuff out in-game, I won't say too much about that here, but I'd be happy to have Jake notice he has a wee bit of psychic mojo of his own as we go.

It could be fun to catch Eddie using it without realizing and out him that way "how did you know about X?" "you told me about it" "no, I didn't"

YEAH that is usually how it seems to be used. Either him randomly figuring out complicated routes oooor him just referring to something absently. If you want Eddie to see something in particular then feel free to link me to the scene and we can have it happen. It'll prob be vague and non-descriptive but yayeaya still fun to do.

Character name: Majima

If yes, is there anything you would like him to notice or feel he could notice?: Jake can probably sense that Majima is frankly a really complicated person and a bit of a chameleon. He's been trying to make a pretty big decision for a little while before he ever showed up in Reims; he doesn't think about it actively and seems to have tabled it for now, but it's always there in the back of his mind. He seems to have some connection to some old guy who is also in game. Also he has A LOT OF FEELINGS, which Jake is free to pick up on, I try and put those into his flavor text whenever something serious is going down.
Passive impressions: Jake might sense that Majima has some kind of fiery violet aura coming off of him at times. He considers himself normal, but he's ridiculously strong for a human, IDK if that's something Jake would pick up on.

Would you be open to Jake having visions of your character(s) and/or their canons?: A lot of Majima's memories are frankly unpleasant, but picking up on them would also lead to deeper and more interesting CR imo. But he also has some very fond memories of people back home, which could also lead to some interesting CR because idk about you but I don't look at Majima and think 'there's a guy who got sucked into a romcom subplot about getting helicopter parents off your back'.

Thanks for the info, this definitely helps fill in a mental picture of Majima! Romcom subplots sound amazing, already his head sounds like a nesting doll of goodies, get past one layer and the next is even more wacky, LMAO. I'd love to dig into more of this as they go.
