a dog from my world is now here. he belongs to my friend dorothy but some days he won't leave me alone.

Soon enough, he'll be stood outside on the porch of Jake's house, a german shepherd sat obediently by his feet - not that Lucas had anything to do with how well he's been trained. He's a former police dog, so he knows how to behave. He's also friendly enough that Dorothy would rest her head on Toto's stomach when sleeping on the ground, like a pillow. ]

You, too. You say he won't leave you alone, but I think you want to show him off a little. Am I close?

I didn't know you moved, though.

_{[That's news to him. Lucas moving into the apartments explains why he hasn't seen him walking Toto around the area so far--and it definitely raises questions worth talking about. Like... does Lucas actually want to be a part of the community here?

_{[And sure enough, as soon as he puts the phone down Jake camps by the front door and peers out the window like an excited dog himself, awaiting the arrival of man and four-legged friend. Glad as he is Lucas thought to visit him, Jake can't help but reserve an extra big smile for the German Shepherd that comes trotting up the walk. Wow, Lucas wasn't kidding. That's sure a dog.

Jake pulls the door open for them, waving to both. Once the door's securely closed, he turns on them.]}

Hey. Come in. He's big. I don't know why, I was expecting something... smaller.
